It is a fine start for two actors – Dilip Prakash and Ashika. Both have come out superbly in the debut film. It seems they have a long journey with this birth given by Mahesh Babu of some of the top films in Kannada for producer Chandru ‘Crazy Boy’.

Story writer Ajay Kumar has looked at all angles and finally gives a stunning portion. Director Mahesh Babu has effortlessly handled the direction. The music of Jassie Gift is the best here and Shekar Chandru camera work is a special treat for the eyes.

The six feet plus tall Arjun son of Rangayana Raghu grows up with principles in life. He is brought up in life when his parents die and close relatives discard him. A friend of Arjun father Rangayana Raghu gives all needed care for this youth. As he joins college he meets a typical girl. The thoughts what he has is found similarly in Nandini (Ashika).

The clever handling of college campus student elections gives a comfortable standing for Arjun. He is a do good student for the college. His love with Nandini is easy going in the beginning but Naidni father Ravishanker has different calculations.

The double standard of Nandini father finally reveals. Before that Arjun makes the right operations to fetch his lover. In the golden jubilee celebration of his college the new era in his life also opens up with rabble rousers repenting for their mistakes.

In dance, dialogue delivery, looks and romance plus action Dilip Prakash has worked hard. He has bright future in case selects his subjects carefully. Ashika looks like actress Poonam Bajwa in some angles is here to stay and give good competition to ‘R’s’of Kannada cinema.

Jassie Gift has given three lovely songs. They are well captured by cameraman Shekar Chandra. Every character in this film looks good with neat makeup and costumes.

Mahesh Babu has given youthful film. In college, at home and in love – the right behaviors he brings in this film ‘Crazy Boy’ – you feel crazy about this film.
